To celebrate the 75th Independence Day with much enthusiasm.
To commemorate the valour and spirit of freedom fighters who fought for the independence of the nation from the British rule.
To remember the glorious past of the country.

Independence Day was celebrated in the premises of PIIT, Greater Noida to mark the 75 years of freedom from the British rule. On this occasion the college organized a grand celebration on the theme Har Ghar Tiranga. All the faculty, staff members and students were asked to dress up in Indian attires with colors of our National Flag Tiranga. The programme started with welcoming the chief guest Prof Dr B.S Rajput Sir. The Tiranga Yatra took place from the PIIT campus to Pari Chowk. All were chanting the slogans such as Bharat Mata Ki Jai, Mahatma Gandhi Amar Rahe. After Tiranga Yatra Flag hoisting took place . It was done by the chief guests. Then National Anthem was sung by all. There was a plantation drive where medicinal plants were planted in the premise. Later all gathered in the conference hall. The chief guest gave an inspiring speech . It was followed by a song sung by Chairman ma'am . A patriotic song was sung by B.Ed student . Director Sir also gave an inspiring speech. Our Chairman Sir was not present in the function due to some engagements so he addressed us through phone call . a speech on Independence day was delivered by BCA student. A B.Ed. student recited a poem in the praise of the Nation. Sweets were distributed among all . The celebration closed with National Anthem.
Outcomes
Following were the objectives of the programme:
The day was celebrated with much zeal.
The freedom fighters were remembered for their sacrifices.
The troubles and sacrifices were remembered which happened to get the freedom.
All became aware of the growth and development that took place after independence.
