Digital Studio Operator Recruitment for Live Streaming and Video Recording

The Prince Institute of Innovative Technology (PIIT) is seeking a Digital Studio Operator for live streaming and video recording. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and operating studio equipment to ensure high-quality video production.

Salary

₹20,000 to ₹25,000 per month

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating Studio Equipment:

  This involves handling cameras, microphones, audio mixers, lighting, and other necessary technical gear for recording and live streaming.

• Monitoring Audio and Video Quality:

  Ensuring clear sound and high-quality visuals during recordings and live broadcasts, adjusting settings as required to enhance the output.

• Troubleshooting and Maintenance:

  Detecting and solving technical issues with studio equipment, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring everything is operational.

• Assisting Faculty/Presenters:

  Providing technical support and assistance to faculty or presenters, ensuring they are at ease with the equipment and the recording process.

• Setting Up for Recordings/Live Streams:

  Getting the studio ready for recording, which includes positioning cameras, adjusting lighting, and setting up audio equipment.

• Operating Online Platforms:

  Managing live streaming platforms (e.g., YouTube, Zoom, etc.) and ensuring a smooth and professional broadcast experience.

• Quality Control:

  Ensuring the quality of recordings, including video, audio, and overall presentation.

• Collaborating with the Team:

  Cooperating with other production team members, to ensure a seamless production process. 

Skills and Qualifications:

• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of video and audio equipment, including cameras, microphones, audio mixers, and lighting.

• Troubleshooting Skills: Capability to swiftly and effectively diagnose and fix technical problems with studio equipment.

• Communication Skills: Competence in effectively communicating with faculty, presenters, and other team members.

• Adaptability: Ability to adjust to various situations and technical challenges.

• Knowledge of Live Streaming Platforms: Understanding of popular live streaming platforms and their functionalities.

• Basic Computer Skills: Skill in using computers and software pertinent to video editing and recording.
