Message from Chief Academic & Planning Adviser

Education is the fastest vehicle for the overall development of the individual, the institution, the society and also the Nation. The main aim of an Educational System is to educate and train our youth to serve society and fulfil the needs of national development in line with international standards. To meet these ends we require our educational institutes and the universities to efficiently perform three basic tasks: propagation of existing knowledge in terms of quality teaching; the creation of new knowledge for human development in terms of excellent research; and generation of awareness among the students, society, administrators and the political leaders about the national and global problems and also to suggest the solutions of these problems. The main task of academic leadership is to identify the innovative methods to meet these requirements. For the first task, efficient propagation of existing knowledge, the academic leadership must create the atmosphere for quality education and the educational management must implement the suggestions and directions given by academic leadership. For the second task we need excellence in research - fundamental, applied, and innovative. A good academic leader must encourage both these tasks in all possible manners by his own example and put all his efforts to efficiently manage all types of education: traditional, professional, technical, vocational, and skill development.

I have been observing since last many years the untiring efforts being made by Dr. Bharat Singh to perform all these three tasks in his institutions, PIIT, Greater Noida and BiTS, Sonepat. Besides these basic tasks he has also introduced the innovative methods of talent search among the students of his institutions and also other nearby institutions and then awarding scholarships to the selected talented students. He has also introduced the innovative methods to provide opportunities for his students to earn while learning in his institutes. I found him helping the poor students from rural areas by providing remarkable concessions in tuition fees and other charges. I also observed him encouraging the female students in all courses by giving remarkable concessions in all charges including tuition fees.

In view of all these facts I wish for the overall growth of all his institutions for the service of Nation.
